Peninsula Rooms
Our Peninsula Rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel and have two queen size beds and a wooden balcony with views of the Nicoya Peninsula and our vast gardens. Although the temperature in Monteverde is usually quite pleasant, all Peninsula Rooms also have a ceiling fan for added comfort.
Peninsula Superior Rooms
Peninsula Superior Rooms are located on the top floor of the Main Building. These rooms are ideal for couples, with private comfortable terraces with views of the Nicoya Peninsula, an open bathroom concept. All rooms have a king size bed.
CHALET ROOMS
Forest Rooms
Our Forest Rooms are located in the Chalet, steps away from the Hotel’s private cloud forest, adjacent to the Monteverde Preserve. Enjoy floor to ceiling windows, spacious bathrooms with bathtub or shower with cloud forest views, hard wood finishings, and ample balconies with beautiful arabesque tiles and stunning views of the giant trees of the forest. Available with one king size bed.
Forest Superior Room
Just like our Forest Rooms, this room features floor to ceiling windows and a terrace with stunning views to the cloud forest. Enjoy also a glass enclosed Jacuzzi and an ample living area. Available with one king size bed or one king and one queen size bed: a great alternative for friends or family.
Belmar Rooms
Belmar Rooms are perfect for honeymooners or those looking for a relaxing and intimate experience in nature. These beautiful rooms offer 270-degree views of the Nicoya Peninsula and a modern, open-concept bathroom (separate toilet booth) finished with natural stone travertine tiles, a double marble vanity, and a two-person whirlpool Jacuzzi looking out onto the Pacific Ocean or the Cloud Forest Preserve.
Canopy Room
Located in the penthouse of the Chalet, the Canopy Room is surrounded by all the wildlife of the Monteverde forests. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows inches away from the trees and a terrace overlooking the mountains of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve, our Canopy Rooms will make you feel at one with nature. Take your bathing experience to another level by enjoying a dip in your private whirlpool Jacuzzi next to giant strangler figs.
Sunset Room
Our Sunset Room offers floor-to-ceiling windows featuring our very best views of the Pacific Ocean and the neighboring valleys in the distance, as well as the mountains of the Monteverde Cloud Forest on the sides. You will enjoy a grand terrace with an outdoor whirlpool Jacuzzi, as well as a spacious bathroom finished with porcelain tiles, a double marble vanity, and a large shower with forest views. Our sunset room is the best way to relax and enjoy the spectacular natural surroundings of Monteverde. Includes a sitting area and ample closet space.
Sunrise Room
The Sunrise Room, also in the penthouse of the Chalet, offers 270-degree views of the mountains of the Monteverde Cloud Forest on one side and the Nicoya Peninsula on the other. It is a true delight to the senses. Enjoy an incredible bird-watching experience from your private 30m2 terrace, or unwind in your own two-person whirlpool Jacuzzi while enjoying views of the Gulf of Nicoya in the distance. With massive floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides, this room offers the very best views in the entire hotel. Includes a large bathroom finished with natural stone travertine tiles, a double marble vanity, a large open-concept shower overlooking the forest, as well as a sitting area and ample closet space.

Note: Due to the topography of the Chalet and Suite buildings, we do not recommend that people with disabilities stay in these rooms. The rooms in the Principal building are more accessible and well-equipped.
Please note that our rooms DO NOT have Televisions or air conditioning (average temperatures in Monteverde are 16-18C)

*To care for your health and that of the environment, all of our rooms are kept 100% toxin free. Products used to clean rooms, detergents used for towels and linens, and all bathroom amenities are gentle and biodegradable, all made in Costa Rica in harmony with nature.
*Water in your bathroom, as well as that used in our laundry rooms, is heated with solar panels, thus considerably reducing our environmental footprint.
