Itinerary
Arrival in Cairo, after customs and immigration our representatives will meet and greet you and assist with your luggage and transfer you to the Oasis Hotel in Cairo.
In the afternoon, go on a half day Egypt city tour including a visit to the Egyptian Museum where archaeological pieces dating as far back as 3000 BC are in exhibit followed by a visit to the Bazaar.
Enjoy a full day optional tour of the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza with lunch.
Afternoon flight to Luxor (roundtrip local Egypt flights are not included). On arrival in Luxor, you are met & transferred directly to our cruise ship M/S Carvnival. Features air-conditioned comfortable cabins all with panaromic windows.
Tonight your tour guide will hold an information meeting to walk you through the program. You will spend the night aboard the ship docked in Luxor.
Dinner Included.
Free day in Luxor, with optional visits to the Luxor Temples, Karnak Temples, Thebes, Valley of Kings and the Collossi of Memnon.
Later, return to the boat to wind down, we will start sailing to Esna this afternoon.
In Esna you will pass through the locks on the River Nile, for many a fun and small scale canal-crossing experience.
Tonight we will dock in Esna for overnight.

As you are having breakfast aboard the boat, you will sail up the Nile to Edfu.
Upon arrival in Edfu, if you purchased our optional excursions package you will have guided visits to Edfu Temple, then we will continue our cruise up the Nile to visit the temple of Kom Ombo.

As you are having breakfast aboard the boat, you will sail up the Nile to Aswan, for many one of the most mesmerizing towns on the Nile.
Upon arrival in Aswan, you can stay and relax on the boat, or if you purchased our optional excursions package you will have a full day excursion which includes a Felucca Sailing on the Nile River and later visit the Temple of Philae, High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk site.

Afternoon transfer to Aswan Airport airport for flight to Cairo (flight not included).
Upon arrival transfer to the Oasis Hotel in Cairo.
Dinner on your own or you may choose an optional farewell floating dinner ($80 PP) on the Nile.

Note: Passengers who booked the optional Abu Simbel excursion will fly to Abu Simbel (with the on site English speaking guide).
Visit the two temples built by Ramses II as a high-architect before he became Pharaoh. The 100 foot high Great Temple is world famous, which features 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari, each 65 foot high. Next to the Great Temple is the temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Both temples were originally carved in a mountain. In 1965 they were moved 600 feet and raised 65 feet, thanks to an international project to save them from the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam.
Upon completion of the optional excursion, you will return by air to Cairo.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Oasis Hotel in Cairo.
Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight back home to the U.S.

The M/S Nile Carnival is a modern cruise vessel with 4 suites and 68 comfortable deluxe cabins 215 sq.ft each, and 2 single cabins 145 sq.ft each. Each cabin has a Mini-bar, TV, telephone, hair dryer, individually controlled Air conditioning, and mirrors.
Our international cuisine restaurant serves all our guests in one sitting. Breakfast is always buffet, lunches are set menu, and some dinners are served as set menu and some as buffet. Quantity and quality of the food is found excellent by most of our passengers. Our chefs who earned the French National Symbol for Excellence in Food and Hospitality Services from “Les Cuisiniers et Hoteliers de Metier” provides cooking courses. Carnival has a modern lounge-bar and a sundeck with its own bar, where one can enjoy the scenery and enjoy the sun.
We have nightly entertainment on board including Belly-dancer Shows, Nubian Parties, Gallabeya (traditional Arab men’s dress wear) themes, Treasure hunts and others. But if there is any guest who does not care to participate in these social activities they can enjoy our sundeck for the night’s view or stroll in the streets of the port of calls. Located on the sun-deck, Carnival’s swimming pool is surrounded by two Jacuzzi, and we also have two whirlpools for our guests’ use.
