Upon arrival, you’ll be met and greeted by our representative and get the VIP airport assistance (through immigration, passport control area, to the baggage area and then to the taxi area). Transfer to the hotel for check-in (and give you the local internet sim card). Overnight in Hanoi. No meals.

8:30 am Pick up at your hotel and heading to the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the One-pillar pagoda. Our next destination would be the Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s first university, built in 1070). Originally the university provided education to the royal family only and then Vietnam’s finest scholars and gifted students from all over the nation headed to Hanoi to study here. Stop for lunch at a restaurant nearby and then go visit the Vietnam Military History Museum – a small but really interesting museum showcasing a well maintained collection of vehicles. There is an impressive selection of military planes, tanks, anti aircraft guns from both sides of the war on the outside. Plenty of guns, bombs, historical photographs on the inside. Learn more about the Vietnam war through a visit to this museum. Our next stop will be the largest and oldest church in Hanoi. St Joseph’s Cathedral was built in 1886 with an architectural style often compared to the Notre Dame de Paris, this church is not only a religious site, but is also a popular photo shoot backdrop for both locals and foreigners. After breakfast, you’ll take a 3.5-hour-drive to Halong Bay by shuttle bus, one of the great natural of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, the boat crew will welcome you and transfer you to the junk boat for check-in and enjoy a cruise around Halong Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. At the same time, you can behold thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from the clear, emerald water. After lunch you’ll join some activities on boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visit a cave, doing kayaking or enjoy swimming in the sea before getting back to the junk boat for relaxing and dinner. In the evening, you can join night fishing with locals. Overnight on board. Meals: B/L/D

In the morning, your breakfast will be served while floating on the sea to explore the beauty of Halong Bay before disembarking time. Joining some more activities on boat and then checking out cabin. The early lunch will be served before getting back to the main dock and you’ll then be transferred to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Arrive in Hanoi at around 4:00 pm. Check in a hostel/homestay to relax and take a shower. Meet our guide and driver at 8:00 pm then heading to Hanoi station for your night train to Sapa. *Each room on the train has 4 beds – please let us know if you want a private room. Meals: B/L

6:15 am Guide and driver will pick you up at Lao Cai station. Breakfast at a local restaurant and then visit Cat Cat – a village of H’Mong ethnic minority, about 2 km from Sapa Town. The village was formed in the mid 19th century by a group of ethnic people gathered here to settle. These people earn their living by growing rice and corns on terraced fields and developing animal husbandry using the traditional methods. Besides, they have well preserved traditional handicrafts such as line and cotton cultivation and woven fabrics. You will also see a number of mills in this village. These mills are powered by flowing water to pound rice. Throughout the trail, you will see how people have used the flowing water to their advantage. Cat Cat waterfall is one of the main attractions. You can dip your feet in the cool water if you are able to jump over the boulders. Cat Cat is also known for its indigo dyeing technique that you can observe as you walk around. After lunch, transfer to Sapa to check-in your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Sapa. Meals: B/L

8:30 am Pick up at hotel and transfer to the Cable Car station – spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos). Have lunch and go visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages of the H’Mong and Day tribes. You’ll have a chance to learn more about ethnic minority communities, enjoy imposing mountain scenery, terraced fields, marvellous nature. Visit ancient sacred stones with big – small ones which have many unique images, secret signs. Meals: B/L

Morning at leisure. Check out hotel and go back to Hanoi by a shared limousine at around 3:00 pm for a comfortable 6-hour drive back to Hanoi so you can see beautiful landscape on the way. Dinner’s on your own. There is a stop on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at 9pm, check-in your hotel. Meals: B
