Your stay at Residencia Pacifico begins (and ends) with a round-trip airport transfer and welcome cocktail, and includes snacks and housekeeping. You’ll know you’re in for a treat from the moment you see the villa’s name set into the driveway, and indeed, the house opens to a stunning beachfront terrace with rows of chaise longues, a shaded dining area, outdoor kitchen with bar and barbecue, and a pool with a waterfall feature. A gazebo closer to the ocean is a shady spot to read, nap or just listen to the waves. Inside, the villa has a home theater, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and ceiling fans.

While the villa’s high ceilings and open plan give the interiors a breezy feel, multiple levels create cozier gathering spots within the layout. The TV lounge, which has a sleek grey sectional and intriguing glass bubble pendant, is tucked below the dining area, which seats ten and has more traditional striped upholstery, wicker light fixture and dark-wood table. The fully equipped contemporary kitchen not only has a breakfast bar, but cleverly separates the main workspace from a breakfast station.

Each of the villa’s six bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The master suite has a king bed, jetted tub, ocean view and balcony access, and a second bedroom has a king bed, sofa bed, ocean view and balcony access. There are two bedrooms with two king beds each, terrace access and ocean views. The fifth bedroom has two queen beds and opens directly to the pool, and the sixth bedroom has a queen bed.

Though Residencia Pacifico is located right on Tango Mar Beach, it’s also easy to explore Tambor Beach, 2.5 miles away, Montezuma Beach, 8.5 miles away, Santa Teresa Beach, 16 miles away, and Playa Mal Pais, 17 miles away. The villa is a 15-minute drive from Montezuma, 17.5 miles from the Cabo Blanco Absolute Natural Reserve, 19 miles from the ferry port at Paquera and 109 miles from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport.
