Today you will be picked up for the half day city tour of Cairo, known as “The Mother of the World”.
Your guided tour includes a visit to the Egyptian Museum where archaeological pieces dating as far back as 3000 BC are on exhibit.
Next, enjoy the sights, sounds and good shopping at Cairo’s famous Bazaars.
Return to your hotel. This evening you might select the unique optional dinner at Floating restaurant on the Nile.

Ancient Egypt comes alive on your tour today of its famous pyramids. Starting with one of the seven wonders of the world, we visit The Great Pyramids of Giza that were built in the 4th dynasty and the nearby guarding Sphinx. Next, we visit Memphis, the first capital city of Egypt . Enter the building which now houses the enormous unfinished statue of King Ramses II. Enjoy lunch in a local Restaurant before we continue our tour of Egypt’s famous pyramids to where the concept was born, The Step pyramid in Sakkara. Return to your hotel for overnight. Day at leisure in Cairo or enjoy the optional tour to Alexandria, known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. We depart Cairo for a scenic drive to Egypt’s second largest city for a guided Tour of the city’s most important sites. Located on the Mediterranean coast, this city was founded by Alexander the Great. Here you will tour the Roman Catacombs – the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt. This tomb was later converted to a public cemetery.Drive past the impressive Library of Alexandria, to the gates of the great Montazzah Palace, home to King Farouk.
