Day 01 :

DAY 1 * SAT * CAIRO / LUXOR /NILE CRUISE:

Arrive in Cairo flight to Luxor (flight not included). On arrival in Luxor, Transfer to your Nile Cruise Boat: CRUISE BEGINS! Tonight your tour guide will hold an information meeting to walk you through the program. You will spend the night aboard the ship docked in Luxor. (D).

Day 02 :

DAY 2* SUN * NILE CRUISE: LUXOR to ESNA

Free day in Luxor, with optional visits (optional shore excursions $299PP)** to Luxor and Karnak Temples and to Thebes and Valley of Kings and Hatsheput Temple. Later return to the boat to wind down. We will start sailing to Esna this afternoon. In Esna you will pass through the locks on the River Nile, for many a fun and small scale canal-crossing experience. Tonight we will dock in Esna for overnight. Lunch and dinner aboard the boat.(B-L-D).

Day 03 :

DAY 3 * MON * NILE CRUISE: ESNA to EDFU to KOM OMBO

As you are having breakfast aboard the boat, you will sail up the Nile to Edfu. Upon arrival in Edfu, if you purchased our Optional Excursion Packages** you will have guided visits to Edfu Temple. We will continue our cruise up the Nile to Kom Ombo, and if you purchased our Optional Excursion Packages**guided visits in Komombo are included. Lunch and dinner are aboard the boat.(B-L-D)

Day 04 :

DAY 4 * TUE * NILE CRUISE: KOM OMBO to ASWAN

As you are having breakfast aboard the boat, you will sail up the Nile to Aswan, for many one of the prettiest towns on the Nile. Upon arrival in Aswan, you can stay and relax on the boat, or if you purchased our Optional Excursion Packages** you will have a full day excursion which includes a Felucca Sailing on the Nile River and later visits Temple of Philae, the High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk site. Lunch and dinner are aboard the boat. B-L-D).

Day 05 :

DAY 5 * WED * NILE CRUISE: ASWAN / OPTIONAL ABU SIMBEL

Arrive in Aswan. Today you might choose to enjoy an optional excursion to the most impressive Abu Simbel ($299) including flights (visit with the on site English speaking guide). In the afternoon, enjoy an optional shore excursion in beautiful Aswan. Lunch, and Dinner on board. (B-L-D)

Note: Passengers who booked the optional Abu Simbel excursion ($299) will fly to Abu Simbel – to visit the two temples built by Ramses II as a high-architect before he became Pharaoh. The 100 foot high Great Temple is world famous, which features 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari, each 65 foot high. Next to the Great Temple is the temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Both temples were originally carved in a mountain. In 1965 they were moved 600 feet and raised 65 feet, thanks to an international project to save them from the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam. Upon completion of the optional excursion, you will fly to Aswan .(B-L-D).

Day 06 :

DAY 6* THU * NILE CRUISE: KOM OMBO / EDFU / ESNA

As you have your breakfast we will sail to Edfu.Later in the afternoon we will sail to Esna, where boat will dock for overnight. (B-L-D)Reception Desk at the MS MS SARAH or similar — Nile Cruise.

Day 07 :

DAY 7 * FRI * NILE CRUISE: EDFU & ESNA

This morning we will cross the locks on the Nile in Esna -providing a fun and small scale canal-crossing experience. We will continue to sail north to Luxor. (B-L-D)

Day 08 :

DAY 8* SAT * CRUISE ENDS --- Fly to and Enjoy CAIRO !

After breakfast, disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo (flight not included). Transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Enjoy an optional excursion in Cairo, visiting the Egyptian Museum, the Old City and the famous bazaar with lunch (optional excursion $120PP). (B)

Day 09 :

DAY 9 *SUN* CAIRO / HOME

Transfer to Cairo airport for flight back home to the U.S. (B)
