Welcome to Suriname! After Immigration and Customs please proceed to the Airport Exit.
Approximate 1 hour shuttle transfer will bring you to the Krasnapolsky Hotel. Paramaribo, the Capital City of Suriname is a junction of cultures. An old Holland colony where people for many countries arrived to work in the plantations. Located in the middle of the Amazon Jungle, Suriname has plenty to offer as one of the most exotic destination of South America.
As one of the oldest and most familiar companies in the Hospitality division, Hotel Krasnapolsky established in 1973, has become a famous landmark in Paramaribo’s downtown city scene. The hotel has always been a huge draw to international tourists and business travelers who seek it out especially for its prime downtown location. With its restaurants and gradual expansion into facilities such as famous fast food chains and shops in the ground floor shopping arcade, the Hotel’s facilities are also much sought after by the dynamic downtown crowd.

At 10:00 am we will set off to the Bergendal Eco & Cultural River Resort and last plantation alongside the Suriname River. You will be delighted by the unique blend of adventure, history, and nature that awaits a 3-day exploration and makes the resort one of a kind. Endless opportunities abound for revitalizing and relaxation, as well many adventure activities to explore. Lunch will be served at in the Kiskadee restaurant. Afternoon River boat tour where we will pass the transmigration villages such as Klaaskreek and Nienuw Lombe.

After breakfast you will take a boat to visit to the Heritage Village, an old slave town at the side of the Suriname River. Arrive at Adventure Center where you will enjoy a Zip Line Adventure with round trip boat transfers.
Then you have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy other optional activities at the Adventure Center.

Brownsberg Nature Park (Optional @ USD 100 per person in double)
Visitors of this protected nature park will enjoy fabulous views of the nearby Brokopondo Lake and surrounding tropical rainforest. Main attractions of the park are the numerous nature trails to the refreshing streams and small waterfalls interspersed throughout the mountain and the encounters with the spectacular flora and fauna of the area.

In the afternoon, depart for the city tour of Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, featuring numerous wooden buildings of unique architecture and a variety of hospitable ethnic groups, living together in harmony. Our guide will take you on a bus ride along the most prominent historic locations in the city center and you will get acquainted with the rich history behind the wooden facades. Some of the most important monumental buildings during this tour are: the Presidential Palace.

Type B lodges
Spacious two room lodges. The comfortable sleeping quarters contain one king size bed. The separate living space is comfortably appointed with stylish furnishings and a convertible sleeper sofa. Type B lodges are the perfect choice for couples and small families. Type B lodges can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and two children under the age of three.
Type C lodges
Smaller lodges perfect for individuals or couples, available with one Queen size bed. C lodges also include a comfortable seating area with a convertible sleeper sofa.

Commewijine Bike Tour: From Paramaribo to Meerzorg be tentboat on the Suriname river. Bike to Peperpot to visit the old coffee and cocoa factory. Along the way you will see the homes of primarily Javanese and Hindustani citizens. Overbridge: A heavenly recreation spot which makes you think of a Caribbean beach resort, only surrounded by the almost mysterious and impenetrable Amazon forest with giant trees, lianas, palm trees and overshadowing majestic Kankantrie’s. Quad Adventure: A one-hour drive will take you to Overbridge, a resort at the Suriname River. After the teach-in you will leave on a powerful Quad for an open cross track. Beginners will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Quad, while the more experienced riders will immensely enjoy the challenges in bends and on hills. You will ride towards the Afobaka Road and halfway dive into the jungle on a trail that –in the old days – was used for timber transportation. This 6 kilometer trail meanders through mud pools, along fallen trees and through dense rainforest. In short: the ideal spot to wrestle with nature to your heart’s content.
