Itinerary

In the morning drive to Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa has made it famous throughout the world. During your full day you will admire the Square of Miracles, the unique composition of the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, Baptistery and Campo Santo. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is a masterpiece of the italian Architecture. Inside the Baptistery you can visit the hexagonal pulpit by Nicola Pisano. Something very special in its own way is the Cemetery in the form of a monumental cloister. Overnight in Pisa or Montecarlo or Pistoia.

Drive to Lucca, the city of the hundred churches and the beautiful medieval city walls. The historic center can be reached through one of the seven gates of the city walls. During your walking tour you will see, for example, the marketplace “Amphitheater”, that round its origin from the Roman period. Well worth seeing is also the San Michele Square with the Church of San Michele in Foro and Palazzo Pretorio. Taste the typical “Buccellato Cake” in a Pasticceria in the San Michale Square in Lucca. Today you will dive into the well-largest art capital of the world. One third of all art treasures of Italy is located in the Tuscan capital. Today, heading into the Chianti area, which extends between Siena and Florence, that has spawned one of the most famous wines, the Chianti. After breakfast drive to Orvieto, an etruscan city rich in history, famous for its cathedral for its cathedral of the St. Patrick well. In the afternoon visit to Civita di Bagnoregio, an example of unique wonder. This small medieval town is connected to the world only by a long and narrow bridge.
